Prof. Smith delivers keynote to Hong Kong business conference

Vernon L. Smith, Ph.D., George L. Argyros Endowed Chair in Finance and Economics and 2002 Nobel Laureate in Economics, recently returned from Hong Kong where he was the featured speaker at the gala “Celebrate Hong Kong” Sept. 20, hosted by the Lion Rock Institute and the Fraser Institute. While he was in Hong Kong Professor Smith also addressed several audiences of students and faculty.

Professor Smith was also the keynote speaker at The Academy of Behavioral Finance & Economics 2011 conference held at the UCLA Anderson School of Management last week, where he spoke on “Adam Smith on Propriety and Human Behavior.”
