Setting up for a winning table
Visitors to the home arts exhibition hall at the Orange County Fair learned about Chapman University’s 150th Anniversary in a particularly dazzling way.
Heather Westenhofer, assistant to the acting dean at the College of Performing Arts, created an elegant table design incorporating the 150th anniversary theme, logo and university colors and entered it in the fair’s table design competition. “Putting on the Glitz” won third place and was part of the fair home arts display throughout its run.
At last year’s fair Westenhofer and colleagues won second place for a table design promoting the Department of Theatre’s world-premiere of If All the Sky Were Paper.
