Professor Cianciarulo to discuss immigration law on KCET program
Marisa Cianciarulo, associate professor, Chapman University School of Law, will appear on tonight’s 9 p.m. SOCAL CONNECTED panel discussing immigration and citizenship issues.
The panel, which has its first airing tonight, March 17, is part of the station’s series A Border Between Them. The series, reported by Orange County Register columnist Yvette Cabrera, profiled a Southern California family torn apart by federal immigration policy.
Professor Cianciarulo is a specialist in immigration law with a human rights focus. She is the Director of Chapman’s Family Violence Clinic. Professor Cianciarulo taught in the Villanova Clinic for Asylum, Refugee and Emigrant Services for three years prior to joining the faculty at Chapman. She previously served as a staff attorney with the American Bar Association’s Commission on Immigration in Washington, D.C.
