Anderson Center’s economic publication wins national honor

October 26, 2010

For the third time in the past 10 years, Chapman University’s A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research has received the prestigious AUBER Award of Excellence for its publication of Economic and Business Review.

Esmael Adibi, Ph.D., professor, Argyros School of Business and Economics, just returned from the 64th annual conference of the Association for University Business and Economic Research (AUBER), where the award was presented.

The Economic & Business Review is published semi-annually by the Anderson Center and is provided to the public as an educational service. The publication includes a comprehensive set of historical economic data at the national, state and county levels. It also contains a forecast of economic activity for the United States, California and Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside/San Bernardino counties. Articles written by Chapman faculty and guest lecturers relating to current economic and business issues, with a particular emphasis on regional economic analysis, are also presented in The Review.

The AUBER conference was held at West Virginia University.
