PIXAR art director to give lecture at Dodge College this week

Good seats available Thursday when "For the Birds" creator speaks at Dodge College.

The animation artist behind PIXAR hits Toy Story, WALL-E, Up, Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc., will be the guest lecturer at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at Dodge College of Film & Media Arts.

Ralph Eggleston, one of PIXAR’s biggest stars and one of the world’s leading animators, was hired in 1992 during the development of Toy Story. His work on Toy Story won him an Annie Award for Best Art Direction. He also directed the Oscar-winning short film For the Birds, the most popular short film in the history of ITUNES.
