Chapman student’s swim career rising fast at nationals

News of Olympic swimmer and Chapman University student Katie Hoff’s resurgence in the swim world is getting plenty of attention after Hoff won the 200- and 400-meter freestyles at the 2010 ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships held this week in Irvine.

Since moving to Orange County to train, her stroke “clicked” and she is feeling optimistic about her future in the sport again, she told The Orange County Register in a page one story Aug. 2. A second story on Aug. 4 at ESPN also describes Hoff’s move to Orange County and her new training style.
